With over 173 employees RCR’s Western Australian, Bunbury operations is a dynamic and fast paced business responsible for the design, manufacture and supply of materials handling and mineral processing equipment. While providing support to the South West Industry in Fabrication, Machining, Hydraulics, Rubber and Splicing services they are also responsible for some very exciting and interesting research and development initiatives in the resources industry.

We are searching for someone looking for a step-up into a career of safety who is able to work independently and in a team environment with the passion to maintain RCR’s excellent reputation in Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental standards.

Reporting directly to the Manager – Bunbury Operations you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely advice, Incident investigations, auditing, statistical reporting, safety training and ensuring compliance with both legislative and OHS & E requirements.

Applicants should have the following skills/experience:

• Excellent people/communication skills
• Hold a Certificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety (essential)
• Have proven experience in Safety or similar type role (preferred)
• Hold a Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment (preferred)
• Has excellent computing skills and is familiar with Microsoft Office
