Explorer tank - hard at work but right at home

RCR Laser had received glowing reports prior to the rally, as the benefits were noticed during the long trip from Toowoomba to the starting location in Longreach.

The owner of the vehicle Wayne Coleman said at the end of the rally:

‘My RCR Explorer long range fuel tank is brilliant. I first approached RCR (Tomlinson) looking for assistance with sponsorship, as I operate a service and support vehicle for the Endeavour Rally’s. When they offered to fit one of their Explorer long range fuel tanks, I had no idea how great the benefits would be. By having the extra fuel capacity, it allowed a greater flexibility for when and where I filled up. I saved over $800 on my first rally alone. We really get challenged by harsh terrain on the rally and it is obvious that the design and quality of the product is excellent.’

RCR Explorer long range fuel tanks are designed and manufactured by the Laser division in Virginia, Brisbane.

Every fuel tank is laser cut, Computerised Numerical Control (CNC) folded and Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welded to ensure the cleanest possible finish, as well as excellence in construction and strength.

All RCR Explorer fuel tanks are vehicle specific and are designed to utilise the manufacture’s original fuel tank location. RCR Laser currently has tanks available for most of the popular 4X4 models.
