Traineeship Opportunity – Administration Assistant

RCR Tomlinson Ltd (RCR) is a leading multi-disciplined engineering company specialising in the design, manufacture and maintenance of heavy equipment and industrial boiler systems, mechanical and electrical, site maintenance and construction, employing some 2300 staff and contractors across Australasia.

We seek a motivated and enthusiastic Administration Assistant to join our Learning & Development team.  This position is offered as a traineeship opportunity, with the successful candidate strongly encouraged to work towards a Certificate IV in Human Resources.

The successful applicant will be responsible for coordination of organisational training activities, including administration of training records and materials development.

The role would suit a career-focused individual who is well organised and well presented.  Most of all however, we seek a team-oriented individual who demonstrates commitment and attention to detail.

Ideally you will have:

  • excellent organisational skills
  • a great phone manner
  • the ability to work in a team environment
  • the ability to communication effectively
  • the capacity to adapt to a changing work environment
  • sound computer skills especially with MS Office
