Our Trainers

Clive Brindley

Clive has worked with RCR Engineering (formerly JG Engineering) for the past 20 years. A fitter by trade, Clive has worked as a supervisor and co-ordinator of projects and mine shuts as well as managing personnel.

Clive is a qualified Workplace Assessor and Trainer (Category IV) and holds competency tickets for a wide range of operational equipment including Cranes, Riggers, Scaffolding, Forklift, Elevating Work Platform, Backhoe and Loaders.

Clive is qualified to train in MARCSTA (Mine Safety) and Blue Card (Construction Safety).

Clive is the only registered CraneSafe Assessor in the Mid West region with a client base throughout the North West. In order to become accredited it was necessary to undertake additional training and gain endorsement by many of the large crane operator companies in the local area.

Coupled with his 12 years of experience as a WorkSafe Assessor, Clive brings vital safety and operational knowledge to RCR Engineering.


Peter(Spike) Jones

Peter Jones, better known as ‘Spike’, joined RCR Engineering in 2006 bringing with him vast industry experience in construction, maritime, petroleum, transport and youth training. A Safety Officer, Trainer by vocation, Spike has worked in many facets of industry around Australia and overseas.

Spike is a qualified Safety Officer (Cert IV) and Workplace Assessor and Trainer (Cert IV) and holds competency tickets in Forklift, CN and CV crane, Advanced Rigging, Dogman and Elevating Work Platform. On the Maritime side, Spike has qualifications in Marine Radio Operator Certificate of Competency (MROCP), Restricted Coxswain and Recreational Skipper’s Ticket.

Spike is qualified to train in MARCSTA (Mine Safety) and Blue Card (Construction Safety).
