Quality Clerk (Solomon Iron Ore Project, WA)

RCR has recently been awarded a major Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contract by Fortescue Metals Group for the Solomon Iron Ore Project in WA.  This is a milestone for RCR and we are now recruiting some key positions for this exciting and challenging project.

The project is a flagship development and, if you’re experienced in administration within a Quality department, it offers you a career-enhancing opportunity.  Initially in Perth, and later on site, you’ll provide vital assistance to the Quality Manager and to the Quality team.

In this busy role, your responsibilities will include:

• Helping to establish and be responsible for maintaining the Quality Group administrative processes
• Controlling the non-conformance and corrective action registers
• Helping maintain the project audit schedule
• Minute taking and follow-up of actions arising
• Providing assistance to the Document Controller

Ideally, you’ll have experience in working to an established Quality Management System and have an  understanding of overall Quality processes from an administrative standpoint.  Training and experience with an Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) such as Sharepoint, will be well-regarded.  It is expected that you’ll have attained a Year 12 high school leaving certificate, or equivalent.

 To succeed, you must have:

• Significant experience in a similar role, in the mining or oil & gas industries
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook and Access
• The ability to work independently and to communicate effectively at all levels
