ASX listed parent company RCR Tomlinson Ltd is an integrated engineering company providing turnkey solutions to blue chip clients in the mining, resources, energy and power sectors, with operations across Australia, New Zealand and Asia.
RCR has been awarded a major Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contract by Fortescue Metals Group for the Solomon Iron Ore Project in WA. This is a milestone in RCR’s growth and we are now recruiting some positions for this exciting and challenging project.
We are requiring a SMP Superintendent to assist with the De-Sanding building area and the Thickener area of this project.  You must have experience working in this area along with strong piping and structural knowledge and working experience, plate or tank experience will be highly regarded but not essential.

Working a 3/1 roster, FIFO of Perth. Excellent pay and conditions. You must be available to fly out immediately on successful completion of paperwork, inductions and medicals/drug & alcohol testing.
To be successful you will have the following: 

  •   Minimum of 6-10 years experience as SMP Superintendent
  •   Structural and piping experience
  •   Experience working for the construction of large-scale mining / resources infrastructure projects
  •   Plate or tank experience (but not essential)
  •   Exposure to iron ore processing plants and materials handling systems
  •   An understanding of technical and quality standards
  •   Strong leadership and excellent communication skills
  •   A firm commitment to working safely
  •   A relevant trade certificate
