ASX listed parent company RCR Tomlinson Ltd is an integrated engineering company providing turnkey solutions to blue chip clients in the mining, resources, energy and power sectors, with operations across Australia, New Zealand and Asia.
RCR has been awarded a major Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contract by Fortescue Metals Group for the Solomon Iron Ore Project in WA.  This is a milestone for RCR and we are now recruiting some key positions for this exciting and challenging project.  Your responsibilities will include:
 

  •   Providing strong leadership and supervision to Leading Hands, Tradespeople and Apprentices
  •   Assisting with the development and maintenance of Workpacks
  •   Reviewing workpacks to ensure scope of work is understood and key targets are planned and managed
  •   Conducting daily Pre-Start Meetings with work crews
  •   Ensuring quality standards are met and maintained by all personnel and sub contractors.

 
To be successful in your application you will need to have:
 

  •   Extensive experience as an SMP supervisor for the construction of large-scale mining facilities
  •   Exposure to iron ore processing plants and materials handling systems
  •   An understanding of technical and quality standards
  •   Strong leadership and communication skills
  •   A firm commitment to working safely
  •   A relevant trade certificate
  •   Solid reporting skills and a good level of computer literacy
