Fabrication Processor/Planner (Bunbury, WA)

RCR’s operations based in Bunbury, Western Australia are a dynamic and fast paced business responsible for the design, manufacture and supply of materials handling and mineral processing equipment. While providing support to the South West industry in Fabrication, Machining, Hydraulics, Rubber and Splicing services we are also responsible for some very exciting and interesting research and development initiatives in the resources industry.

RCR is currently seeking an experienced Fabrication Processor / Planner. Reporting directly to the Manager of Fabrication, you will be required to provide procurement, programming and planning support whilst focusing on maintaining customer relationships throughout the fabrication process.


Key responsibilities also include:
• Interpreting drawings and providing design support to the fabrication team.
• Preparing accurate and cost effective cutting lists for projects.
• Coordinating the procurement of all materials and products.
• Ensuring materials and products are received within pre-determined timeframes from suppliers.
• Assisting Document Control with specific project requirements.
• Developing NC programs for both internal and external customers to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met.
• Maintaining and encouraging relationships with customers and suppliers to benefit RCR.
• Providing estimating support to the fabrication team, when required.


To be successful in this role, you will have a metal fabrication trade qualification and background. A high attention to detail, the ability to communicate to staff on all levels of the organisation and strong analytical and problem solving skills is also required.

The ideal candidate will also demonstrate strong computer literacy (Microsoft Office) skills. Experience with 2D drafting and NC programming would be advantageous.
