Document Controller (Bunbury, WA)

RCR’s operations based in Bunbury, Western Australia are a dynamic and fast paced business responsible for the design, manufacture and supply of materials handling and mineral processing equipment. While providing support to the South West Industry in fabrication, Machining, Hydraulics, Rubber and Splicing services we are also responsible for some very exciting and interesting research and development initiatives in the resources industry.

RCR is currently seeking a Document Controller to join their Engineering team. Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, you will be required to ensure all project documentation including data sheets, drawings, manuals, contracts, reports etc are correctly recorded and issued.

 

Key responsibilities also include:
• Assist with the setup of vendor registers for individual projects.
• Assist with the receipt, recording, distribution, submission, monitoring and tracking of all deliverables for Engineering projects.
• Liaise with RCR clients and consultants document controllers to obtain a smooth flow of documents for each project.
• Assist with the preparation of quality documents, material data reports and manuals for projects.
• Expedite all deliverables for projects to meet the deadlines for submission and returned documents.
• Provide administrative support to the Engineering division to optimise quality.

 

To be successful in this role, you will be a highly motivated individual with a willingness to learn and develop as an efficient Document Controller. A high attention to detail, exceptional written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated initiative is also required. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate practical Microsoft Office skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
