Trainer - Product Support

RCR Tomlinson Ltd (ASX:RCR) is a diversified engineering company providing turnkey integrated solutions to blue chip clients in the resources, energy and infrastructure sectors.

RCR's core capabilities encompass structural, mechanical, piping and electrical disciplines, including communications, railway signalling and overhead wiring systems; OEM supply of materials handling and process equipment; asset maintenance and repair services; HVAC; and design and construction of power and steam generation plants, using a wide range of fuels.

RCR has extensive operations across Australia, Asia and New Zealand.

This position will report directly to the Technical Co-ordinator. The role will be responsible for delivering OEM RCR Mining Technologies product specific presentations and training packages including assessments to RCR clients on site nationally and occasionally internationally.


 
Key Responsibilities also include:
 
• Liaising directly with the client to finalise logistical parameters of the training package. i.e. travel requirements, time needed to present package, induction requirements for client etc
 
•  Work closely with RCR Mining Technologies staff to develop training content based on client feedback reports
 
• Promote RCR training wherever possible to secure regular refresher courses with the client.
 
• Provide critical feedback from client on content of packages to ensure customer satisfaction and training package quality both in content and presentation.
 
• Have people focused acumen and be comfortable presenting to audiences of up to 12 people.
 

 

Essential:
 
• Mechanical trade background. Experience in delivering mechanically based product specific presentations.
 
• Has completed a Certificate IV (or equivalent) in Training and Assessment.
 
• Proven record of working independently and working directly with clients. References to support this would be favourable.
 
• Office suite experience more specifically experience and proven competence with PowerPoint presentations.
