RCR Tomlinson Ltd currently has an exciting opportunity for an experienced receptionist to join our engineering division based in Bunbury, WA. We are seeking a confident and motivated individual with a cheerful, friendly, and outgoing disposition who enjoys working in a busy professional environment. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be part of a well-established team.


Your key areas of responsibilities will include:

• Meet and greet visitors in a professional manner.
• Answer medium to high volume inbound calls and directing to internal staff.
• Screen all phone enquiries.
• Accurately and efficiently distribute incoming and outgoing company mail and courier deliveries to RCR divisions.
• Check the division’s mail inbox and forward all emails to relevant staff members.
• Take care of office stationary requirements including placing orders and distribution to divisions.
• Collect and enter the division’s time cards on a daily basis.
• Assist Project Managers in preparing purchase orders for projects.
• Assist in keeping various office registers up to date.
• Assist the team in collating reports and other documents for submission to clients.
• Assist the estimating team with setting up electronic and hard copy folders and collation of documentation for tender submissions.
• Filing, archiving, laminating and binding of documents as and when required.
• Maintain the division’s pool vehicle log books and booking of pool vehicles.


We are looking for someone who has the desire to succeed both individually and as part of a team. To be considered for this role it is important that you possess:

• Professional telephone manner.
• Strong computer skills.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written at all levels of the organisation.
• The ability to multi-task, organise and prioritise with good time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines.
• 2 to 5 years experience in a similar role.
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• The ability to adapt to a changing work environment.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• A flexible, willing “can do” attitude.
• Experience in Share Point and SAP would be an advantage.
