Electricians (NSW)

We currently have a number of opportunities within our NSW Rail business for experienced Electricians with experience in the Commercial Building industry to work on a large project to start this year. These will be challenging and rewarding roles forming an integral part of the NSW Rail Team.

Reporting to the Supervisor these role will be based in Sydney CBD and will oversee the effective installation of the project’s electrical scope in line with company policy and statute regulations whilst ensuring works are carried out in the most efficient and safe manner to the satisfaction of the client.

The primary responsibilities of this role will include, but are not limited to:

•Performing professional electrical work to ensure that installations are performed in the safest, most timely and cost effective manner.
•Ensuring all works are completed as per the job requirements, maintaining a high standard of workmanship  and abiding by statue regulations
•Completing relevant reports and QA sheets when applicable in a timely manner.
•Generate by your own actions a safe work environment that is aimed towards a culture free of incidents and injuries.
•Familiarise yourself with the IMS as amended and updates.
•Monitor and record all cases of delays by client and or other subcontractors.
•Take responsibility and care for company plant, equipment and vehicles.
•Notify foreman or supervisor immediately of any accident, hazard or problem related to a job or client.
•Participate fully in tool box sessions and any on the job or company organised training

To be considered for this role you will possess the following experience and personal qualities:

·      NSW licensed electrician with full driver’s license.
·      Demonstrated technical experience working on commercial building projects.
·        Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
·        Self-motivated and disciplined with the ability to work in a team environment.
·        Ideally possess basic to Intermediate level computer skills.
·        Construction Industry white card.
·        Available to start in the New Year.
·        Offer a value-add customer service second-to-none.
·        Team player.
·        Professionalism.
·        A good understanding of safety.
