Project Manager - HVAC Minor Works (Notting Hill, VIC)

Our Haden division has become synonymous with quality, technical expertise and innovation in the design, installation and maintenance of mechanical engineering and air conditioning. As such we are seeking applications from driven and competent Project Managers to join our talented team.
We are currently seeking applications from experienced and professional Project Managers with experience in the HVAC industry focusing on Minor Work construction. This will be a challenging and rewarding role which forms an integral part of our Victorian Haden Business.
Reporting to the Service Manager Melbourne, this role will take primary accountability of all HVAC Minor Works within Victoria and introduce all our products and services to new and existing customers in an effort to build the business and achieve targets, as well as overall strategic and business objectives. You will have considerable experience working within the HVAC industry within Australia.

The primary responsibilities of this role will include, but are not limited to:

•Effectively appraise and assess the needs of RCR Infrastructure - Haden customers and advise on the application of company products or services to customer requirements;
•Prepare and submit comprehensive and accurate proposals and tenders via bid management processes;
•Effectively manage projects from start to finish in conjunction with relevant sub-contractors and resources using the Project Maintenance part of Pronto;
•Manage all project resources to achieve safety, quality, cost, and time requirements;
•Develop, maintain and monitor project programs and to instruct site resources on the implementation of the programs, including updating Purchase Order numbers with sub-contractors;
•Prepare, review and monitor long-term special project plans to attain stated objectives in conjunction with the Project Coordinator and Regional Business Development Manager;
•Actively comply with company policy and procedure in regards to Health, Safety and the Environment including Site Specific SWMS and Toolbox talks;
•Other duties as outlined in the PD.


To be considered for this role you will possess the following experience and personal qualities:

•Minimum of 5 years’ HVAC Industry experience, or experience in a large company or corporate environment;
•Demonstrated experience operating in a professional environment delivering multiple products and services;
•Intermediate to advanced computer skills including experience with the MS Office suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook);
•Effective oral and written communication skills;
•Ability to establish and maintain effective internal and external relationships;
•High-level conceptual and analytical skills, with a demonstrated ability to analyse complex issues and to solve difficult problems on a regular basis, identifying causes and offering alternate solutions;
•Ability to effectively handle high-stress environments with resilience and professionalism.
