RCR has performed Upgrades & Maintenance Work work at the Liddell Power Station since 2007.
RCR was awarded a contract to overhaul boilers & auxiliary equipment on Units 2 & 3 at AGL Macquarie’s Liddell Power Station in the Hunter Valley region of NSW.
RCR has had a long association with this facility. All contracts to date have been under Alliance models which have delivered savings to the client and improved reliability of units.
In August 2015, RCR delivered two consecutive outages, which to date has been the largest scope of work carried out on boilers on this site. A total labour force of 250 were directly employed over the ten weeks of the outage.
Early in 2016, RCR & AGL Macquarie signed a Relationship Agreement to carry out Boiler & Auxiliary Outages at Liddell, to run until the station’s closure in 2022.
